MESSAGE FROM THE CONCIL OF HELLENES

The foundation and existence of the Supreme Council of the Gentile Hellenes were announced June 17, 1997 by Christian chronology, by the following news bulletin sent to media and the press:

"For decades, we as Gentile Hellenes, that is to say the Greeks who continue to respect and honor the rituals and traditions of our ancestors true Hellenes, stayed (and it was a mistake) stoically patients to neglect and systematic degradation of our true culture and heritage, by the State "Greek" today remains beholden to a "giant" financial-religious, the "church" Orthodox, whose interest is to degrade our true ethnic tradition maintaining its privileges at any price.

But in recent years as a reply may be our first attempts to restore our voice in the modern Hellenic society, we have learned a violent way, we can not we "afford" to remain quiet before that "silent war" against Hellenism genuine (pre-Christian). This is because the Christian church for the first time since the Enlightenment, now leave the "democratic pretenses" and reveals his true face, a face violent and intolerant. Some of our companions have received death threats, was burned (!) A library that was dedicated to books on our true tradition, and (which is the most horrible we have seen the attacks against some pre-Christian temples!

Faced with this terrible reality that is developing now, we the Hellenes Gentiles, have decided to establish the Supreme Council of the Gentile Hellenes for the restoration of genuine Hellenic tradition. Our goal is to guide, by all legitimate means, the Hellenic people to respect and restore our ethnic religion, our philosophy, our perception of the cosmos, our political thought that gave democracy, art old who created masterpieces of our Mythos, our language, our ethos and, while saying a word, our Logos.

This announcement (press release) is the first that we send to media, the press and authorities. We hope it will be published and all the others will follow, as required by the principles of equality and freedom of speech of citizens.
