IDOLATRY + POLYTHEISM = CHRISTIAN HYPOCRISY
As I already said on this site, the Hellenic religion has absolutely nothing against the Christian religion, moreover, the plurality of our beliefs is symbolic of our respect and our tolerance of other faiths.
However, it would be wise to demonstrate how the hypocrisy of asserting branches of Christianity are just impostors in their own doctrines for centuries with the Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church etc...
Indeed, for two thousand years the Christian church has accused the Hellenic religion to be so idolized by his cult of worship of many gods and goddesses through statues outside nevertheless when you go to a church what do we find?
Statues of Christ, statues of Mary even called "Queen of Sky" and dozens or even hundreds of saints and saints who are equally venerated and elevated to goddesses and gods with symbols, so it s 'acting as a human being at the base: is not this the pure definition of polytheism and idolatry?
Not to mention that even popes have been deifiedand when we see people worshiped their images although they were that human beings made of flesh and bone as opposed to our belief that at least revered cosmic entities then appropriate to ask who are the real idolaters.
So I really do not see what the church blames when they do the same with their polytheistic beliefs, especially that our worship has at least the advantage of worshiping gods and goddesses who were integral parts of our traditions, our history and our heritage and therefore belongs completely to our historical traditions have helped to enlighten humanity with our philosophers, thinkers and artists who were without the context of a precursor of the greatest civilization in the world.
Moreover, if our religion is contrary to Christian values then why does the Greek Church not decide to destroy our monuments as the Parthenon dedicated to these goddesses and all the gods?
The Orthodox church has always needed money for the Greeks to live in comfort as a monarchy, so probably believes that the destruction of our monuments that attract millions of tourists every year and bring billions from this fact will not allow them more power to continue to live so lavishly on these vectors wealth of Greece.
The ingratitude of the Greek Church demonstrate so well all his good "faith" that the Orthodox can not live on the wealth of worship and spit.
And it must be consistent in this sense: the Greek cultural heritage is not limited in its monuments but also to his religion which enabled them to be shaped and if we disagree with the government so why bother the britains to recover any pieces of broken statues which in principle should allow oblivion since the Orthodox Church rejects this religion!
This therefore shows all the hypocrisy and inconsistency of all Greek leaders and members of his church who are nothing more than thieves and profiteers ungrateful of all the heritage of our culture so they are worse than the British that they criticize because the English respect even our freedom of our belief and our cultural heritage much better than these crooks at the head of the "Republic" Hellenic Greece.
